Kitchen Remodeling Project - Jenstad Family
The Jenstads a young, growing family that purchased a new home in a neighborhood they love. Their plan is to renovate the entire house as their budget permits. This family kicked off their remodeling adventure with a new oak-flooring kitchen that spans the whole front of the house.
As part of the kitchen project, the old raised countertop was lowered in order to make it more comfortable for the Jenstad children, who often sat there to do homework and eat their meals. The reconfigured counter also makes a great drop spot for groceries an school packs at the end of the day.
New kitchen highlights
6-inch oak hardwood flooring on whole main floor.
Custom maple cabinets in sable charcoal stain with satin nickel pulls.
3x6 tumbled travertine backsplash with offset joints.
New stainless vent hood and appliances.
New texture and paint on walls and ceiling along with new trim.
Pottery Barn pendant lights.
I love having the opportunity to help people select finishes and pull their kitchen's new look together. The huge smiles on my customers' faces at the end of a successful project are one of the reasons I get up in the morning every day.
