Banks family kitchen remodeling project.
The Banks were in dire need of a new kitchen. Their existing space was small and outdated, without a square corner in the room. You had to walk thru the small laundry to get to and from the garage. The original kitchen also had poor lighting and an awkward layout, so it was not user friendly at all.
A new design was created that moved the laundry to another location, and that space was incorporated into the new layout.
New kitchen highlights
Light walnut finish on oak floor to match existing dinning room floor.
New granite counter tops
Backsplash below all cabinets as well as inside back wall shelf for arts-and-crafts feel
Cherry cabinets with fruitwood stain and oil-rubbed bronze hardware.
Rohl farm style sink with glass doors on each side.
A new single window was installed to give the kitchen a clean appearance and a focal point for guests and friends. All new stainless-steel appliances were supplied by the owners. Matching stone art was custom-made for the Banks and installed below the vent hood for a striking enhancement to the space.
