I've been remodeling for as long as I can remember.
In fact, since my parents owned a contracting company, you might say I grew up in the business. In the old days, contractors did not use sub-contractors-- they did all the work themselves. When we turned 16 in my family, our father would hand us a shovel on our summer break and instruct us to put in a house foundation without any help whatsoever.
When my turn came, it took me all summer to lay that foundation, and none of my buddies ever showed up to help. But on the flip side, I learned everything about building and remodeling from the ground up. And I developed a passion for detail. I was the only one in my family that did all the fancy trim and hardware work, unlike my brothers, who always got stuck with roofing and siding.
In the early 1980s, I started my own remodeling business. I moved from Denver, Colorado in 2002 in search for better weather and more oxygen, and settled in the Sacramento area, where I currently service customers in Carmichael, Fair Oaks, Orangevale, Folsom, Granite Bay, Loomis, Roseville, and El Dorado Hills.
Customers for Life -- Not Just a Kitchen Project
My father taught me early on that talk is cheap--and quality lives on forever. It's not important who you buy a project from, but who actually does the work. While other contracting business owners rarely meet their customers face-to-face, I'm on the job every day until it's done. So the project not only takes less time; it gets done right. I love working in the field, talking with homeowners, and seeing their faces when their much-anticipated kitchen project comes to fruition (and once in a while, if a happy customer has a knack for baking, I get an apple pie out of the deal).
If you ask my customers why they enjoy working with me, you tend to hear the same things. Professionalism. Efficiency. Creativity. Integrity. Above all, people know they can trust me with their project and their home.
This is more than a job for me; it's a family tradition and it's my life.
